Texture & Pattern Step 1 Observe & Describe

I chose the fence for the pattern and dessert for texture.

The texture of the desert picture looks smooth for most of it but in other parts of the image the sand looks like a rough texture. The ‘lines’ in the image are organic and has a constant flow like waves of an ocean. The movement moves are going mostly horizontal with little sharp angles. This picture stood out to be because of the balance between light and dark and high contrast between them. The dark is almost close to black while the lightest is above the mid tone.
The fence is a pattern of twist and turns. The pattern repeats from left to right and top to bottom. The rhythm is consistent but the further it goes the smaller it gets dur to the prospective. The contrast between mid-tone and the darkest sports are not strange. Its hard to tell without taking closer look.

this is the final composition which is a cardboard box with some cats scratches i really liked the design scratches created that’s is why I picked itthis is the second final composition I found the leaf very interesting with the bendings and the cut outs on certain areas which made me choose it for the composition —–

Over all I’m very satisfied with the way these comps ended , not using lines on these comps   if were hard and if  were to do something different I would pick another image instead the first one which will include more details and designs just to make it more attractive

I’m have a mixed feeling on my assignment. While I believe the I created interesting designs but they weren’t up to par with a few of the expectations set. While not intentional, their was a bit of a lack in consistency in my finished pieces. The marker I used wasn’t too consistent, even if I did apply many coats. Another thing to note is my obvious didn’t completely hit the 30/70 relationship it should’ve.

On an island in the middle of the sea, an insane devil witch with her brilliant intelligent was working on an abandoned dark magic. She created a colossal golem with the avaricious of destroying the world for banished her away from the world. After declaring the world with the rest of mankind, a bloody battle between current human technology and the colossal takes place. The war lasted 195 days. About 80% of mankind was slaughtered under the giant, but we won the battle. On the other hand, by performing the dark magic, the witch sold her soul to the Demon of the death. After realizing he cannot rule over the world, he took her soul and left into the underworld. This is a piece of that giant.

Long ago, in a far far away land where there was nothing but dragons. The superior species in the entire world. Then from the farthest corner of the world, deep down inside a tunnel where fog are so thick that even the sun can’t reach to the bottom. A creature called human begin to form. This weak, ugly, pathetic creature found the flame, a essential element of earth. They mastered it and turned it into their weapon. They defeat the dragon and soon take all over the world. They created the age of fire. But we all know, the fire fades, light exists in parallel with darkness. Soon, the age of human wither. A curse cause people sane and after that the world and these are a part of their creation called “Wall”.

In the 21st human invented a lot of thing that once could never be imagined. They invented light bulb to clear the boundary of night and day, they make travel much faster and more efficient, they created flying bird to carry people to many places, they can even see and talk to each other on the other side of the globe and so on. By imagination and creativity. They were be able to transform useless materials like rock, trees into useful stuffs. But, pushing productivity too much create numerous problem. They created paper but they have to cut down trees, they created car for faster transportation but car accident is inevitable. That is why they invented a lot of symbol, drawing on the street to help reduce it. This is called “crosswalk”.
