My mission is too improve families. The client population I want to work with is children and their families. In my personal opinion an individual’s home can help form a person. A child who is neglected will usually act out or become loners and will eventually grow up to act the same way. A child who is abused, molested, along with many other things sometimes grow up doing the same thing. If I can fix or help to make a home base better for the children and family this can be a positive factor for the family and society.
I envision my career path from the time of graduation to ten years following hopefully in a higher position then what I was when I first stared. I hope to be a supervisor or a profession even higher. The classes I’ve been taking as a human service major will all benefit in the long run.
