This report focuses on an item known as the Impossible Slippers by Noritaka Tatehana, displayed at the virtual exhibition of Fairy Tale Fashion of the Museum at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology). They are not just any regular slippers, in fact, they are glass slippers inspired by the famous fairytale Cinderella. The theme of this exhibit was to show a direct relationship between high fashion items and dress in fairytales, where even in the 21st century we have not forgotten our fairytales and how even today sometimes we look for cuteness over comfort in a shoe.
