As healthcare providers, it is our responsibility to stay informed and up to date with current research in both medical and dental fields to ensure we are delivering the highest standard of care to our patients. Throughout my time as a dental hygiene student, I have completed several research papers on a variety of topics that extend beyond traditional dental care, allowing me to deepen my understanding of the connection between oral health and overall health. This academic experience has enhanced my ability to approach patient care with a more comprehensive and evidence-based perspective.
