Architect? Yes or No?
Thinking about becoming a licensed architect is a great question and something I’ve pondered on for a while. In the path I’m heading I want to become a licensed architect because it brings on a responsibility and commitment in the career of architecture that one experiences prior this achievement. Plus, I would want to possibly work on my own projects or even be able to sign those drawings off with my own signature, making architecture feel more serial. Becoming a licensed architect will tell my employer that I have the experience to take on huge future responsibilities. In my opinion having my license will give me the opportunity to express my designs through the forms I make or even the architectural language I establish around a community. Everyone has a unique style to architecture, so why not make it become real. Architect? Yes.
Yes those are excellent points licensure is important in the field to ensure people that you have knowledge in your designs and also the legal aspect.
