My journey into the world of dentistry began the day I got braces. I was genuinely excited for every orthodontic appointment, and it sparked a passion that stayed with me.

At 24 years old, after a six-year break from school, I made the decision to go back to college with a clear goal: to become a dental hygienist. I was determined to bring my grades up to the standard needed for acceptance into the program—and after a lot of hard work and focus, I was accepted on my first try.

From day one, I promised myself I’d give 100% to this path. That passion led me to run for class president, and I was honored to be elected.

Whether I’m in the classroom, the clinic, or out in the community, stepping up to lead and help others comes naturally to me. That’s how I’ve come to realize—I didn’t choose this field, this field chose me.
