My name is David Martin and I live in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I am 29 years old and originally from Albany, NY. I have an undergraduate BA in Rhetoric and Communications from SUNY Albany that wrapped up in 2008, but I’ve been inspired to reinvigorate my academic mind and pursue a course of study in applied science.
My influences in science include but are absolutely not limited to Carl Sagan, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Michio Kaku, Stephen Hawking, Richard Feynman, and the list goes on.
I am earnestly getting my feet wet in this field (and overcoming years of accumulated math anxieties) and am infinitely excited for the direction I’ve chosen to take.
I am also a musician with a number of musical pieces available online at the website below. As it were, that passion has taken a place of secondary importance to my current vision of a science-centric future and the limitless possibilities that sprawl forth in all directions.
