My Courses
This course builds upon the student’s knowledge of nursing and provides the requisites required for practice as a community health nurse. The focus is on health promotion, disease prevention and maintenance of health, which is the core of community-based care. Selected concepts such as evidence-based care that contribute to the foundation of community-based nursing will be discussed. The course will examine historical perspectives, the value of community health, the nurse’s present day professional expectations and accompanying changes in responsibilities, accountability for practice and ethical and transcultural considerations. The curriculum will focus on specific contemporary community health issues including communicable diseases, mental health and preparedness for bioterrorism.

My Clubs
We are a design club at New York City College of Technology. We host Meet the Pros (facebook.com/meetthepros) speaker series and we release an annual design magazine, Command+J.
Music Club formed to promote musicality among students in City Tech. The club consists of students who enjoy and play music. Vocalists and Instrumentalists alike.
Student Government Association
The Student Government Association is the representative body for students. We are responsible for recommending student activity fee allocations, shaping policies affecting student life, coordinating extracurricular events and chartering new organizations. What do mathematicians do? Can mathematics be fun and interesting? Do you like free pizza? The Math Club is open to everyone with an interest in logic puzzles, games of chance or strategy, and mathematics in general. We host a variety of math related events, math talks, math games, math puzzles, field trips, math competitions, and more. Feel free to stop by on Thursdays in Namm N719, from 1-2pm.
This club is open to all City Tech students, but was originally conceived for the students of the Advertising Design & Graphic Arts (ADGA) Department. We have formed to help bring traditional printmaking techniques back into the general awareness of our members in order to ground them more fully in the philosophy and heritage of graphic arts design and production. We work to offer informative lectures, presentations, exhibitions, demonstrations, and field trips for our students to explore all forms of printmaking, including but not limited to screenprint, relief, lithography, and intaglio.
