My name is Esther Vancol. I am a registered nurse with an Associate Degree. I am currently enrolled in a BSN program at New York City College of Technology. I am currently employed at Forest Hills Hospital where I have the opportunity to carry out the passion of helping others through nursing.

My Projects
I have always wanted to find a career that goes along with my personality. I am a caring person. I always want to help others as far as I can. Helping others bring a sense of joy to me. I have found that nursing is the right profession where I can externalize that God-given passion. Therefore, I tend to describe nursing the way I feel when I am caring for someone. I believe that nursing is the art of caring. Nursing is being filled with compassion which compels one to go extra miles in helping someone in need. Nursing is the ability to go beyond of what everyone else might see and visualize the bigger picture and act accordingly. Nursing is willing to learn more to better serve. Nursing is promoting people dignity and respect.
