Tahvaughni’s Profile
Architecture
I’m Tahvaughni Brown — a creative entrepreneur, builder, City Tech Student, and project manager in training. My mission is to turn ideas into impact by blending vision with execution. Whether I’m managing timelines, designing wellness products, or sketching architectural spaces, I believe in building systems that serve people and create long-term value.
As the founder of 92 You, I’m developing a holistic health and wellness ecosystem that includes Seamoss products, fitness initiatives, herbal solutions, and community-based events. I’m also actively transitioning into the project management field, having earned my Google Project Management Certification, and currently preparing for my CAPM through PMI.
I come from a background in construction, where I gained real-world experience managing moving parts under pressure. Now, I’m applying those lessons to larger goals — from architecture school to managing high-impact projects and inspiring others through content and community building.

My Courses
ARCH1121 History of World Architecture to 1900 Fa2025
This historical survey of architecture covers the period from early civilizations to the arrival of the Industrial Revolution. Architecture is understood as an expression of the culture and life of a society, and each class session considers architectures from around the world within their social, historical, and spatial contexts. While the history of Western architecture is covered from the Egyptian to the Enlightenment, a special focus is directed to the architectures of the Far East, South Asia, Africa, pre-Columbian Latin America, the Islamic World, and elsewhere to provide a comprehensive overview of the richness and diversity of architecture as a cultural artifact.
This workshop focuses on helping new students transition to college life, and specifically to City Tech. The workshop will enhance the New Student Connection with additional information, activities, and various opportunities to connect with faculty, staff, and current City Tech students. In addition to learning how to access a variety of college services and resources, students will develop personalized plans for their college career.

My Clubs
For over 30 years the Architecture Club has been one of the most influential clubs on City Tech’s campus. Each semester students and club members’ gain valuable knowledge from speakers who are invited to come and share their architectural experiences with the club. However, class lectures are no substitute for the personal, eye opening experiences that a field trip can bring.
