DEN 2400 presents the didactic material, which correlates with the clinical experience, provided in DEN 2400L. The Clinical Faculty serves as group facilitators who assist the students in developing an awareness of and appreciation for the concepts, topics, and procedures related to the Dental Hygiene profession.

The Clinical Faculty serves as group facilitators who assist the students in developing an awareness of and appreciation for the concepts, topics, and procedures related to the Dental Hygiene profession.

This course introduces academic reading and college essay writing skills. Our Learning Communities material is themed Emotions 101: Learning to Navigate the Challenges of College and Life will offer readings, writing assignments, and a shared movie, enabling students to identify stresses in their own lives, recognize stresses they share with other students entering college, and collaboratively develop effective coping skills to address them.
