Bio

Life is too short for worries, live it while you can; enjoy every bit of it. Leave all the worries behind. Today might not have been yours but tomorrow you will shine.
Hi, everyone. I’m Nadia Arif. I’m a student at City Tech. I’m from Brooklyn. I like helping others. My academic interest are Health Care and Human Services. I’m a joyful creature that you will not find elsewhere. I love to smile and most importantly make others smile. I act crazy with the ones I’m close to, just to see them smile. People say I don’t talk much but the ones who are close to me know I can’t stop talking once I start. I like to spend time with my friends. I always want to see my friends and family happy and successful in their lives. I love nature. I like traveling to beautiful natural places. I have been to Niagara Falls. I found it so beautiful and breath taking. I have also been to Banff and Lake Louise in Calgary Canada. The place was so beautiful, the lake and the mountains. I want to travel to natural places all like these around the world.

LIB 1201 E951 Fall 2019

This course explores research and documentation for all media formats including text, images, sound, and multimedia. Students will explore information issues, especially in terms of their relevance today: how information is produced and organized in both traditional and emerging media, how information access is affected by political, economic and cultural factors, and the ethics of information use. Students will also acquire the practical skills of locating information sources in a variety of media and formats, critical evaluation of sources, and documentation and citation of traditional and emerging media and technologies. Students will apply what they learn to create and present research and documentation projects.

CDMG1111 Sec. D304 Digital Media Foundations

CDMG1111 Sec. D304 Digital Media Foundations

This course introduces students to core concepts underlying all digital media —graphic design, web, broadcast, animation, illustration and game design—that the ADGA department offers in its associate and bachelor degree program. Weekly lectures explain technical concepts such as resolution, compression, and color space, concepts that allow students to produce creative work across media with more predictable results. Students work with a variety of graphic arts software programs to reveal how the software application’s tools and menus incorporate the scientific principles discussed during lecture.
