My Courses
MAT1275 College Algebra and Trigonometry, FA2018
An intermediate and advanced algebra course. Topics include quadratic equations, systems of linear equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, and topics from trigonometry including identities, equations and solutions of triangles.
MAT1575 Calculus II, Spring 2015
A continuation of Calculus I (i.e., MAT 1475). The course begins with integration: definition of definite and indefinite integrals, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, techniques of integration, improper integrals, and applications of integrals to areas, volumes and arc lengths. The latter half of the course covers Taylor polynomials, the Mean Value Theorem, infinite sequences and series, tests of convergence, and Taylor series.
My Projects
MAT1190 Instructors Group Spring2020
This is a space for Instructors of the Quantitative Reasoning course to prepare for distance learning, share ideas, and course materials.
Math Department Instructor Resources
This site contains resources for faculty teaching in the math department. Resources include course outlines and final exam review sheets, as well as support for distance learning in mathematics.
Sandbox site for workshops! WORKSHOP FOLLOW-UP QUESTIONS: tinyurl.com/openlabsurvey
Central resource site for MAT 1372 Statistics with Probability, with syllabus, lessons, review sheets, WeBWorK and other resources for students and faculty.

My Clubs
We welcome the CityTech community to learn and grow in the areas of electrical and telecommunications technology. Every semester we provide a series of seminars with speakers that present the latest research. In addition, various workshops are also provided.
City Tech Women Engineers Club
The mission of the City Tech Women Engineers Club is to promote awareness and interest in improving the enrollment, retention and graduation rates of women in the technology programs at New York City College of Technology, as well as develop leadership skills through workshops, seminars and student collaboration. lnstitute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Women in Engineering (WIE) student branch at CityTech invites all interested students to join the Openlab club. Joining IEEE WIE student chapter is optional. We provide support, information and resources to all members to help them succeed in their engineering technology field of interest.
What do mathematicians do? Can mathematics be fun and interesting? Do you like free pizza? The Math Club is open to everyone with an interest in logic puzzles, games of chance or strategy, and mathematics in general. We host a variety of math related events, math talks, math games, math puzzles, field trips, math competitions, and more. Feel free to stop by on Thursdays in Namm N719, from 1-2pm.
Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) Club
The Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) Leadership Program at City Tech is designed to promote, foster, and recognize diverse student leaders, and their ability to motivate, inspire, and positively influence others on campus and in the community. Peer Leaders are chosen and provided training to facilitate workshops in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
