Spring 2012 – Product Design I
This course introduces to students the basic theory and the key factors related to the successful product design and development. It presents a new approach to building products. Topics include basic product development processes, product opportunities identification, style and technology integration, value opportunities, brand strategy and product strategy, and integrated approach to product design. Case study will be used to demonstrate the design process.
