Topics covered include descriptive statistics, sample spaces and probabilities, discrete probability distributions (Binomial, Hypergeometric), expectation and variance, continuous probability distributions (Normal, Student, Chi-Square), confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and correlation and linear regression. Spreadsheets are used throughout the semester.
