Danielle’s Profile
I studied Computer Animation in Miami and have experience ranging from graphic design and video editing to art history and volunteering at the ASPCA. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and have been learning French. I believe I can integrate all of my previous experiences and knowledge into a successful hospitality career and utilize my skills and friendly personality in a more social atmosphere. I have a strong work ethic and perseverance to see all projects through. I have a strong belief in sustainable and organic living and practices and would love to eventually incorporate that in my future business pursuits. One day I would love to open my own environmentally friendly and sustainable inn in the Pacific Northwest region.

This special topics course offers an interdisciplinary approach to investigating our built environment using a case study focused on a specific place each semester. This course combines physical examination with information research and data collection using methodologies developed in multiple disciplines. Students from a variety of departments engage in on-site exploration and in-depth research of a location in New York City.
Procedural, customer and staff perspectives involved in the provision of quality service as practiced in a dining room laboratory. Student rotation through dining room service positions with emphasis on responsibilities of planning, producing and evaluating service. Practice of proper safety and sanitation methods. Critique of restaurant service.

Social Justice Performance Project Site Fall 2019
Student final performance projects documenting public interventions to raise awareness of, start conversations about, or inspire action on social issues including: MTA fares for CUNY Students, Mental Health service access, NYCHA housing conditions, and CO2 emissions from buildings.
