Undergraduate Research

Realizing the value of the research experience at the undergraduate level, this project is committed to fostering research opportunities for City Tech students. Faculty and students can use this project as a place to share announcements about research opportunities, as well as a place to offer information about the experiences students and faculty have had in their research endeavors. A handbook on effective mentoring, developed by the Undergraduate Research Committee, is currently available for download.

City Tech students participate in clubs and organizations, reflecting a broad range of academic and social interests. Working closely with student clubs and the Student Government Association, Student Life and Development promotes full participation and access to student events and activities without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, age, religion, disability status, gender identity, sexual orientation or national origin. Understanding the impact of climate change on building energy consumption

As an CRSP undergraduate Researcher Scholars/Engineer having the ability to display, study and shed light on real time climate senerios and variables which are forever changing along with its change to the magnitude of global warming. By collecting various data existing factors, such as cooling and heating demands, respective results are obtained to account for energy consumption. We are able to predict & prevent wasteful which results in harmful climate burdens impacting global warming.

The club connects City Tech students to the world of IFMA. IFMA was “founded in 1980, IFMA is the world’s largest and most widely recognized international association for facility management professionals, supporting 24,000 members in more than 100 countries.”
