To be honest I never thought that I would want to or have the opportunity to go back to school after 8 years of trying to find my way and true purpose. I’ve worked many jobs revolving around mostly customer service. I’ve worked everywhere from various retails business’, food establishments and educational environments. Those jobs taught me so much about myself and how to extend hospitality in umpteen ways, but at some point I realized I wanted to combine those skills, with additive knowledge to eventually serve it back to my community. One of my love languages is cooking for others. The way I see it is that no matter who we are, where we come from and what we go through food is an imperative part of our well being, access to fresh foods and information on healthier ways of living is a human right. My academic goals are to combine what I learn in culinary/hospitality with psychology to properly help aid others through their human experience and helping them understand their needs away from social conditioning.
