Chaya’s Profile
My name is Chaya Kearse and I am a transfer student working on completing my B.A. in Human Services. For the last 14 years I have worked for a city agency, Dept. of Homeless Services working my way up the ladder to becoming the Director of Programs for a single men’s shelter. I have devoted a majority of my time between taking care of my 4 children and finding housing for homeless individuals/families.

American Government, Alexander Sections
This is the introductory course in American Government, with the main focus on the national level but some attention to state and local levels as well. This OpenLab site contains course materials as well as links to news sites and a discussion board to exchange ideas. Please keep disagreements friendly, and please keep in mind that our main purpose is more to analyze than to react and fume. Human Service Seminar
HUS1206 Group Dynamics, FALL 2016
An in-depth examination of groups and how individuals influence and are influenced by group processes. Role playing and group observation assignments provide students with understanding of themselves as group participants and ways of using group procedures in the helping processes.
