The Honors Scholars Program at New York City College of Technology is dedicated to providing academically gifted students with the opportunity to develop their intellectual potential. Honors Scholars will participate in a collaborative community designed to motivate and challenge talented students and to foster a life-long dedication to learning. Honors Scholars will have the privilege to take part in special activities such as seminars, workshops, field trips, social events, research opportunities and enriched coursework for honors credit. The requirements for joining the Honors Scholars Program are a minimum GPA of 3.4 and completion of 16 or more credits.

BioMedical Informatics Student Club

The Biomedical Informatics (BIB) Student club exists to advocate, provide support and services to fellow Biomedical Informatics undergraduate students here at New York City College of Technology. We aim to assist students in gaining opportunities and discovering information that is relevant and beneficial towards the degree requirement of the program. Through the expansion of knowledge, workshops, field trips and invited speakers, we hope to give students the option to network and attain skills required for classes including the internship. This is a student-run club which is advised by faculty members, Professor Eugenia Giannopoulou and Professor Mai Zahran.

Chemistry Club is open to all students! When, where, what and how often? Meetings take place on Thursdays at 12:45/1pm to 2pm in Pearl 603. Seminars on admissions to Medical or Dental School , Pharmacy School or Health related fields, special guest speakers or events that are of interest to YOU! This is a student-run club which is advised by a faculty member, Dr. Diana Samaroo. Check the Chemistry Club bulletin board across Pearl 613 or this website for a schedule of events.
