Intro — Anthony

My name is Anthony Im a computer engineering technology major. Im Haitian, both my mother and father were born and raised in Haiti then immigrated to the U.S., I was born in the U.S. specifically Harlem but I live in Brooklyn. Apparently I lived in Haiti for a couple years two years after I was born but I have no memory of it since I was a baby. I can understand Haitian Creole but I can just barely speak the language. My mom told be that when I came back from Haiti I was as fluent as a 5 year old could be in the language so I still wonder why as far as I could remember I wasn’t able to speak or understand the language. Below is a picture of me when I was in Haiti.

As for personal interests and/or hobbies I have an interests in music, gaming, tech, reading, anime, marvel, and food. I like to think of myself as a pretty laidback person so although I’ve been told I look unapproachable, as conceited as it might sound, I’m a pretty cool/chill person to say what’s up to.

My career choice is as a software engineer, while I don’t have too much experience in coding it is a passion of mine and I aim to make it into that field and excel in it.

  1. hey Anthony, nice intro, i might not know much about computer engineering technology but I hope the studying pays off and the career you’re trying to pursue pays well. what type of music you listen to? And what are your fav movies/tv shows? goodluck on getting better at coding too

  2. Hey Anthony, I’m studying computer engineering as well! We also share some of the same interests, anime, gaming and tech. Although I mostly read manga I do like to watch the anime adaptation after I’ve read something if it exists. My coding experience is minimal as well but I do really enjoy coding because after completing a program and getting everything to actually work is incredibly fulfilling. I hope to see you in some computer engineering classes!

  3. Thx for the cute baby picture. Are you the baby?

Computer engineering is a good choice — how do you find the programming classes so far.
