Writing task Mentor quote— Leslie N.

A mentor of mine or someone I look up to is my mother. She has taught me what I
should and shouldn’t do in life. How it would be like not having a proper education,
how it would be like always depending on someone, and how hard it could be to not
give up. There was this one time when my mother had to respond to this lady via
text messages but since my mother wasn’t fluent in English and had no education
with learning how to read and write in English, my mother found it difficult to
respond back to the lady. My mom asked me if I could type what she wanted to say
to the lady and I said Yeah sure. So my mom told me what she wanted to say to the
lady and so I typed it. This showed me how important it is to get a proper
education, and how to learn/study/acquire knowledge that can be used anywhere
and on the daily.
