Rhetorical Analysis and quotable- Ashley

Question: What’s the authors intended audience and purpose?

The creators target group and individual would be the guardians and branch of schooling which illuminates them how children aren’t permitted to pose inquiries without “upsetting the class” or being distracted. The essayist makes reference to how kid’s youngsters can pose up to 104 inquiries an hour and 3 in a moment. I would agree that the creators essential crowd is the branch of training since she’s illuminating them the way in which educators show small children to not clarify some pressing issues and they are viewed as less inquisitive despite the fact that they are high-performing. The message that the writer believes that the pursuer should remove is that kids ought to have the option to clarify some things and be interested without getting closed down and regret asking something.

            Notable quotables:

  1. “She found the youngest children in an American surburban elementary school asked between two and five questions in a two-hour period. Even worse, as they got older the children gave up asking altogether”
  2. “The questions they asked were aimed at improving their results, whereas the questions asked by more curious students were aimed at understanding a topic more deeply”
  3. “Children should be prompted and encouraged to ask questions even though that can be challenging for the teacher, he says.” – Paul Howard-Jones

  1. I liked how you answered the question, but there are other questions that you should answer and the question you choose is one of them. you can find the questions on the unit 2 assignment.

  2. Hello Ashley, Your rhetorical analysis looks a bit off. You did answer some parts of the questions that were on the assignment like the intended audience and the purpose of the article but you didn’t show how reliable the source is or the author. You also did not mention the tone or genre. You did give all the required quotes that there should be but you didn’t cite the author at the end of your quotes. Without citing the author it makes it seem like you said those words instead of the actual person who said it. There are many things that you should work on and change but overall assignment looks well done.
