This is a video essay.
[Inserts video clips of people talking about nuclear energy]
Where will it take us? What use can something seemingly so unsafe provide? Is it worth pursuing nuclear power? Yes actually it is. You might learn about nuclear power briefly in school, most of the time you’ll be discussing the atomic bombs. Or maybe you’re a fan of the Christopher Nolan film Oppenheimer, it was an extremely good movie after all. So from all this you’ve gotten that the atomic bombs were bad, so you probably think the same of nuclear power too right. Well that’s the wrong way of thinking, in fact nuclear power is revolutionary. It’s definitely the solution to a lot of our growing energy concerns. [Transition to the next segment]
Middle Part:
1. Why i’m doing this
– talk about how i think it is helpful and benefical
2. Explaining the negative perception
– show different media that display nuclear energy
– tell how these affected me at first
– explain what people think now
3. Talk about how people are caught up on the negatives
– talk about the issues, cost, proliferation and inaction
– show media or something that support this
4. Directly address the negatives
-explain how safe power plants actually are
– talk about disasters like three mile island, fukushima, and chernybol to educate people on what actually happened, and how it’s not nuclear powers fault
5. Explain the positives of nuclear energy
– use the RAB source entries for this
6. Conclude with a statement about why we should switch to nuclear power, explain the time constraints we have and add a new fact to the end.
Yes this looks good. Will you be able to show me your progress this week in Computer Lab?
