The Sophomore Review will be happening on Thursday 3/20 During during our regular COMD 2400 class. Everyone needs to register AND submit their digital online portfolio by Thursday, 3/13 (the Link can be updated after being submitted) .
You will present your strongest work to a COMD faculty member, discuss career goals, and plan advisement opportunities with them. You do not need to make any new projects or pieces for this!!! Just upload any recent work to your already existing ePortfolio, portfolio website, or Behance, etc. This is to assess your progress in our program and is NOT for a grade.
Here is the 3-step process:
Step 1 – Register and submit (due by Tuesday 3/12)

Projects that should be included in your portfolio
Portfolio Requirements (7 project + Writing)
- Typographic sample
- Drawing sample
- Photography or Video sample
- Layout and Design
- Three additional samples
- Any three additional academic or non-academic projects that focus on your strengths or desired career path.
- Writing sample (project descriptions that help explain creative decision-making)
