Hello, my name is Luis R. Alava. I am 28 years old and I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I came to the United States of America when I was 10 years old. 

I graduated from City College of New York (CUNY) in June of 2017 with a bachelor degree in Science in the field of Psychology. After graduation I decided to follow my dream career, architecture. I decided to enrolled in New York City College of Technology (CUNY) because I found a great opportunity to learn and explore something that I have loved ever since I was a little kid, the field of architecture.

For several obstacles in life I couldn’t study architecture. But now that I am involved in it I couldn’t be happier.
