Hello! I am a newly Registered Nurse in New York State. I successfully completed my Associate of Science Degree in Nursing at New York City College of Technology, graduating top of my class as valedictorian with the highest academic average in four continuous semesters. I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in June 2020 from New York City College of Technology. I have been working in a long-term specialized care center for 6 months. My main role is to provide safe and effective care for patients on mechanical ventilation. Since beginning my nursing journey, I have grown and improved my bedside manner, made meaningful and memorable connections with patients, and solidified my passion for nursing.
My vision, as a registered nurse, is to be an integral and innovative leader that inspires others while providing patients with quality and compassionate care. My mission is to demonstrate excellence in clinical care by my commitment to evidence-based practice, and to deliver family-centered, culturally competent care in a healing environment. Being motivated to deliver holistic, safe, and ethical care to patients and their families drives me to continually improve my medical aptitude, effective prioritization, and leadership skills in my practice as a nurse.
