Hi! My name is Alejandra Lopez. I am a registered nurse who graduated from New York City College of Technology with an Associate degree in June 2016. I am currently working towards pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing and expanding my knowledge. Throughout my journey in the profession of nursing, I have learned the true meaning of being a nurse. To be a nurse means treating your patients with compassion and respect. It means being able to understand your patients and advocating for their needs. Someone once told me, patients may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel. To me, being able to care for individuals and making a difference in their lives is the most rewarding feeling.
