During my internship at Monzlapur, I supported both the creative and operational sides of the brand’s development. My responsibilities included cutting fabric for new designs, assisting with pattern drafting, managing garment inventory, and sourcing trims and materials across New York’s Garment District. I contributed to shipping logistics, managed e-commerce updates through Shopify, and participated in photoshoots and pop-up events by handling styling, setup, and visual merchandising. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience in content creation by editing photos, resizing images, and preparing assets for Monzlapur’s website and digital platforms. This role enhanced my technical skills in fashion production and deepened my understanding of brand operations in a fast-paced studio environment. I also collaborated closely with the designer to execute creative direction for new collections. The experience strengthened my ability to multitask, take initiative, and adapt to the evolving needs of a growing independent label.
