1-Teaching Goals

οƒ˜ Work to strengthen the capability of teaching seeking personal and collegial professional developments to be prepared for a diverse audience.

οƒ˜ Be inspirational, enthusiastic, reflect positive attitude and be a role model for learners.

οƒ˜ Be clear and prΓ©cised in giving instructions and delivering content. Speak in concise, very high level and detailed manner.

οƒ˜ Build upon the strength of individuals to promote self-esteem and motivation to learners.

οƒ˜ Set up measurable goals and make them clear in partnership and shared responsibility with each student and constantly do conferencing to assure success.

οƒ˜ Pace the teaching and make sure that all the content of the syllabi is imparted in effective manner.
οƒ˜ Promote critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, researching, quantitative and qualitative reasoning, explaining, exploring, analyzing, synthesizing and encourage the
acquisition of life- long learning skills.

οƒ˜ Teach soft competencies beside the mathematical concepts and competencies and incorporate methodologies that promote both types of competencies.

οƒ˜ Work in collaboration and cooperation with colleagues to establish a network of support for students and exchange experiences in improving methodologies and strategies of teaching in
the classroom.

Future Teaching Goals

οƒ˜ Teaching College Math and/or Remedial Math Skills 1 and 2
οƒ˜ Teaching Mat 1275 (Pre-calculus) and Mat 1475 (Calculus) classes as well as other classes that will be assigned to me.
οƒ˜ Write a workbook in Pre-calculus in which I will bring an escalated range of problems related to topics such as basic functions, transformations and their graphs, operations with
functions, inverse functions, dividing polynomials, graphing polynomial functions, roots of polynomials, polynomial and rational inequalities, exponential and logarithmic and
trigonometric functions, complex numbers etc
