Welcome back to the spring 2025 semester!

Welcome new and returning City Tech students to the Ursula C. Schwerin Library! I hope the winter break was restful and restorative. If you are a freshman or transfer student, welcome to City Tech! This is your library. The library staff and faculty are here to support you every step of the way, be it conducting research, borrowing materials, taking a class in the library, or just studying, we are here to help.

Periodicals

You may have noticed that we are updating our periodicals section. Even though that area is under construction, you can still scan and copy documents and library materials, as well as use the printers in the area. We also plan on getting a new periodicals shelf which you can use to browse materials.

We also want to hear your thoughts on how to improve this space. Let us know or fill out a survey.

Library Events

The library also plans on having an updated calendar of exhibits, book displays, and workshops. Keep your eyes on our blog or visit our event page.

Upgraded Workstations

The library has added new upgraded workstations to our computer labs. Feel free to use these to lookup resources through one of our many subscribed databases, type a paper, or connect with others.

Study Rooms

Library study rooms are available for individual, 3 party or 4 party use. If you need a space to participate in an online class, use a study room in the library. You can also visit the labs in G600 or V217 more spaces for online classes.
