The City Tech Guide is a one stop shop for new students that contains information about academic advisement, degree mapping, campus resources, student life, and more.
The City Tech Guide is part of a broader, campus-wide effort to support students from the time they are admitted to the college through graduation. It was developed with input from students and in partnership with the Student Ready College Steering Committee, the Office of Student Life and Development, the Faculty Commons, and the City Tech Library. The site and journey maps depicted below offer a behind the scenes look into how this student resource was developed.
The guide replaces the commercially licensed Guidebook App and is a mobile friendly OpenLab site that we developed right here at City Tech with our unique student population in mind.
