The City Tech Library subscribes to more than 20 EBSCO article databases covering a wide range of scholarly and professional subjects. During this workshop you’ll learn strategies to help you search these databases more effectively. We’ll also review EBSCO’s research productivity tools, from keeping lists of search results to emailing articles to creating search and journal publication alerts.

The City Tech Library, in partnership with the Faculty Commons, is pleased to invite all faculty to attend a workshop on blogs (weblogs). Blogs continue to change how scholarly ideas are expressed and exchanged, and impact teaching and learning as well. Participants will learn the basics of setting up and maintaining a blog using WordPress, and finding scholarly information in the “blogosphere.”

The City Tech library will be open weekdays during Spring Break from 9 am to 5 pm. The library is closed on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12; open as usual on Saturday, April 18 from 10 am – 4 pm.
The library’s Internet Lab and Multimedia Resource Center will be open weekdays during Spring Break as well: Wednesday, April 8 through Friday, April 10, 12 noon – 4 pm; Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 from 12 noon – 4 pm.
