Digital Media

In the reading “Producer of digital media”, Pavlik talks about the changes in media that arise after digital age. Media used to be written and limited in the past, with the invention of World Wide Web there has been an exponential increase in the diversity of source of media production. News agencies that once specialized in print, major newspapers such as the New York Times and Washington Post now produce extensive video for online.   People can access to those video from anywhere in the globe. Also many people create their homemade videos and publish them online via video webcast and because of that the importance of video making agencies is being decreased day by day. In last I guess future will be a world where individuals create content and share it with each other without the need for traditional broadcasters and distribution channels.
