Student Profile: Tokhirjohn Malikov

Everyday when my mom talks about how my uncle was a successful at his job, I always go into my room and take out the gold plated vintage Rolex watch that he left to me as a present when I flew to USA. He said to me, “That’s a present to you from me.  Every time you look at the watch, always remember me.”

Unfortunately my uncle got hit by a car. It happened back in my country Tashkent, Uzbekistan around summer of 2010. It was devastating news for our family. So every time I look at the watch, it reminds me of him.
