This course will serve as an overview of core concepts in the communication design field including file formats, typography, color theory, design and production terminology, reproduction processes, and digital video, audio and animation. During the semester, you’ll read relevant articles, complete three pages of your own ePortfolio web site, and produce design and video projects. Lectures will provide historical perspectives on the graphic communication design field as well as discussing current practices and future trends.
