Hi, my name is Karina Guzman. I am an aspiring Dental Hygienist in my senior year of dental hygiene school at New York City College of Technology. In 2016 I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with plans on becoming a Child Psychiatrist. I was blessed enough to work in the psychology and social work field for two and a half years before finding my true calling in Dental Hygiene.
I began my Dental Hygiene journey in the Fall of 2019, with no dental field background. I applied simply for future monetary advancements but as I completed my second semester in DH school, I knew it was not about the money I would be making but the service I would provide to people around the world. I am grateful to have had this opportunity and will power to succeed in this program.
