Working at Live By The Sword has been an important stepping stone in my creative journey. One of my biggest goals was to create videos professionally and build a career through content creation. This experience allowed me to develop those skills in a real-world environment. Through my role on the media team, I gained valuable knowledge about social media marketing, brand identity, and how to successfully maintain a company’s online presence across multiple platforms.
During my time at the shop, I also learned how to collaborate and communicate with people who have different personalities. This experience helped me grow both professionally and personally. One aspect I am especially grateful for was having creative freedom in the type of content I was able to produce. Being trusted with creative control allowed me to experiment with new video ideas.
The flexibility of filming content at the shop while editing in the office also helped me maintain a healthier work-life balance. Overall, this opportunity gave me hands-on experience in content creation, strengthened my confidence as a creative, and helped prepare me for future opportunities in the industry.
