Origins

I found my internship on Linkedin when I was searching for internships. At around this time I did my website and was confident in my work. I also had 500+ connections on Linkedin. After applying, my current boss Eric called me and emailed me about his interested in hiring me. He told me when and where the interview was and he told me to bring my laptop to present my book. I showed up to the interview in a blazer and tie. I was also 15 minutes early. I waited in the reception room anticipating the interview while watching their mannequins set up with every team jersey and their accomplishments.

Eric showed up 20 minutes after I got there. I also ate Kit Kat while I waited. I presented my book to him and went into most of my projects. It went well, and he mostly liked everything I presented. He then told me he went to my high school, and his son is also currently attending there. We then talked about old high school stories, growing up in NYC and the similarities in our career paths. He also had an interest in forensic science and criminal justice, but then switched over in Xavier to art and graphic design. I did that, but in college instead of high school. He told me about the job, and I asked him a couple of questions about it. After the interview, he gave me a tour of the studio and offered me the job a week later when I was picking up my girlfriend. I submitted the forums when they sent it to me, and I started the job two weeks after that phone call.
