3 Event 1 MoCAA Art Festival

The Mocca Art festival was the best experience to start off, and I met amazing and extremely talented artists.

Walking into the MoCCA Arts Festival felt less like attending an event and more like stepping inside a living sketchbook. Held in Chelsea at the Metropolitan Pavilion, the space buzzed with energy—hundreds of artists, illustrators, and storytellers all packed into one vibrant, creative universe.

From the moment I walked in, it was overwhelming in the best way possible. Tables stretched endlessly, each one filled with zines, prints, comics, and handmade books that felt raw and personal.

What stood out most was the direct connection between artists and visitors. You weren’t just buying artwork—you were hearing stories behind each piece. Some artists broke down their creative process, others shared the struggles behind their work, and a few even sketched live right in front of you.

There were also panels and talks happening throughout the day, where industry professionals and emerging voices spoke about illustration, comics, and storytelling. It gave the whole experience depth—not just visual inspiration, but insight into the creative world itself.
