ARCH 1240 Methods of Construction

This retired course was my first significant focus when I joined the faculty in 2009. I found the course materials needed significant updating and improvement, so I embarked on the development of new lecture slides with more significant and higher quality photographs and illustrations.

This course served to introduce me to the department and its approach to architectural education. It gave me perspective to make significant contributions to the teaching of Building Science and Technology in our department, including significant development and teaching of the first 2 courses of the four course Building Technology Sequence ARCH 1130 and ARCH 1230. These courses subsumed much of the material and content presented in this course.

I also re-developed the quizzes and final exams for this course.
