BWRC CONFERENCE 2019: Living in Brooklyn: Housing along the Brooklyn Waterfront

BWRC Conference 2019

I helped develop and organize this conference as a Senior Fellow of the Brooklyn Waterfront Research Center. I helped arrange speakers for the panels, was the lead on the development and editing of the conference program, and the invited coordinator and moderator one of the 4 panel discussions.

BWRC Research Area Map

I developed this base map for the BWRC study area, overlaying the waterfront geography with the 2010 census track map, then mapping a 1 mile radius from the any waterfront edge in Brooklyn to identify the tracks whose geometric center falls within the radius. From this map I prepared a list of census tracks base data for future research use.
