I just had a department meeting. Although I was nervous it was fun to meet the other members of the team. During the meeting emphasis was made on meeting deadlines and teamwork. Since we are working on social media, being on time with posts is very important. They also mention not to hesitate to ask for help whether to our supervisor and/or our colleges. We can share and give feedback and even teach others if there isa skill we know of that we can share.This meeting was comforting since, before the start of the internship, I was worried about doing things mostly on my own. Not to mention as a shy person it felt good to hear that it was okay to ask questions and that I do not need to have all the skills.
