• Auto Immune & Neurological Disorders and Their Effect On Oral Health

    • This was a research project I conducted with two other classmates. We looked at the connection of auto immune and neurological disorders and their effects on the oral cavity and oral health. This helped us gather important information to us, which better prepares us for when we encounter patients in private practice with auto immune or neurological disorders.
    • After conducting this project we were able to identify signs of auto immune or neurological disorders in the oral cavity.
    • We also learned ways that we can help patients relieve side effects of these disorders in the oral cavity.
