This week we were told we had to pause progress on the robot project. Mike said he’s been in contact with an advertising company called “Green Buzz” and that they’re interested in us. We need to make a short to show what we’re capable of. If all goes well, they’ll can consider us for future jobs. I’ve been assigned to create characters for the upcoming job, namely a pinata that will be smashed in half. They want to toy around with the physics engine for this project, which simulates mass for objects in a 3d environment, therefore they want me to make a pinata that has a lot of gibs (loose fragments of a model). That way when the pinata is hit, it’ll explode into confetti. This is a bit more complicated than I’m used to since there are so many bits.
