The logo for “Jailen Paguay” incorporates a stylized floral motif with colors that represent strength, creativity, and femininity, chosen based on color psychology and merchandising principles Visual Merchandising by Bell J. & Torres. The colors used in the logo include deep navy blue, rust, peach, and soft orange. Colors evoke emotional responses that can influence perception and brand image (Bell & Torres, 2020, p. 25). Specifically, Navy blue signifies strength, intelligence, and professionalism (Bell & Torres, 2020, p. 26), which aligns with Jailen Paguay’s value of being a hard-working and thoughtful woman. Rust and deep orange tones represent earthiness, warmth, and vibrancy, which express resilience and creativity (Bell & Torres, 2020, p. 26). Peach and soft coral hues evoke warmth, friendliness, and approachability (Bell & Torres, 2020, p.26).
These colors create a visual identity that reflects her confidence, inner strength, and creativity. Qualities that are foundational to Paguay’s personal and professional identity. The logo features a classic serif font to evoke professionalism, elegance, and tradition. Serif fonts are widely used in branding when the aim is to convey trust, intellect, and authority. Serif fonts are traditionally associated with formality, strength, and readability, making them an ideal choice for someone hardworking, intelligent, and reliable. The bold nature of the typeface also visually reinforces strength and presence, aligning with the powerful floral imagery (Ambrose & Harris, 2011). Together, the color palette and typography make a cohesive brand image that shows Paguay’s values while setting the tone for the visual elements that follow.
