“Turn Your Wounds Into Wisdom”, the quotation from Oprah Winfrey is the focus of my postcard project. I used Helvetica Condensed Bold and Helvetica Light as a main typeface. Oprah Winfrey face is within the text, ‘Wisdom’, it adds to her meaningful quote. I used reflect tool to switch the direction of the part of the quote ‘ Turn Your Wounds Into’ and ‘Wisdom’ is in all caps to highlight wisdom as the focus of the postcard. I wanted to create movement and rhythm in my postcard composition.
Complentary Colors in this composition. I layered the U’s for an effect of showing how turn your wonders is separated from ‘into’ and ‘Wisdom’.
