1)  Wired Cable.

2) Hole on the wall.

3) Light Bulb

  1. (S_A_X) I used ink to add the black background because i wanted to leave the letters white, so it looks more like the original picture.
  2. (A_K_E) I wanted the letters to have the same texture as the original picture and tried doing the same with the color.
  3. (S_V_N) I tried to have the same spiral vibe as the light bulb. I added two picture because i really liked how the letters without the purple background came out. I tried giving the letters some shades with pencil to match the light bulb.
  4. Overall, This project was fun. However, i felt a little limited to only use objects from my house. I wish i could have gone outside and find different starting points and explored more options. But i am satisfied with how it came out .

Angel Cuevas – ColorYourSelfie Final

The Screenshot killed the quality of the images but I hope it is still visible. Overall, I really enjoyed this project. I wish i did not start late. I would’ve to tried different colors apart from my favorite like brighter colors and do more sketches. Although I am satisfied with the colors i’ve chosen.

Project 2- Txture & Pattern Deliver (Angel Cuevas)

I honestly enjoyed this project, however, I would not like to do it again. I learned how different pieces of lines, letters, and Thickness of these two, can create an image. It really forced me to think and look for other options. Something I would apply to my next projects is more time, and do more sketches and apply more ideas and variety to them.

IMAGE#1 – TEXTURE

LINE/TEXTURE

TYPE/TEXTURE

At first, I did not know how to make the darkest part, black since all the letters are together, Our eyes would not be able to differentiate the letters from one another. Which is why I left a tiny white line around each letter. That makes it easier for us to see which letter is which.

IMAGE #2 – PATTERN

Project 1 – Lost & Found – Angel Cuevas (Discover & Deliver)

OBVIOUS #1

A hole on the wall

Story – It originally used to be a small crack on the wall until one day this man who was not having the best of his days and was really angry due to losing a competition, showed up and was raging. To relieve his anger he punched the wall so many times. Thus, causing this big hole.

AMBIGUOUS

Fire Hose

Story – This is an enchanted Fire hose created by one powerful blacksmith who was also a mage years ago. It was a gift for firefighters. However, it was hard to control. The water pressure coming out of it was too much for regular humans like the firefighters to handle. Which is why they have decided to put it away behind a powerful fence so nobody could use it.

DELIVER: & CRITIQUE

OBVIOUS  FINAL

This project helped me to simplify pictures without losing its essence. What I could have done better in this image is to add more detail to the borders of the object to emphasize its texture a lot more.

AMBIGUOUS FINAL

I learned that you can find other ways to do something you can’t without breaking the rules. This image had fences that were lines. At first, I tried leaving it out but the image did not end up being the same. So I had to find a way to include the fences because they were an essential part of the image. What I feel I could have done better is make all the fences have the same thickness.
