Today we walked around a small area of the Brooklyn bridge park. We learned about numerous historical events that took place and why it was so important. I got to visit the Jane’s carousel and many more historical sites. the river cafe was one place we passed, which was one of the first restaurants on that pier. Before the river cafe was built this was just an old dock. We gained a better understanding of the different aspects of tourism and how it helps and changes our community. The entrance to the park was lined with historical events that took place there which was amazing.
