A guide to this Course

Hello Everyone:

Below is a guide to help navigate this course site a little bit. I know that some of you may be new to OpenLab so I have made this guide to ease you into the course.

There are a number important drop down menus on the main page:

You can always refer to this page as a starting point to navigate the website.

Assignments are marked online (Section:OL85) or M/W in person (Section:D998)- please complete the assignments for the appropriate class

The Syllabus is found under the Survival Skills section and again there is one marked online or M/W in person. Please follow the appropriate section.

The weekly readings and all other information is for both sections. So if it doesn’t say online or M/W in person- both classes should read that information.

Assignments online: / Assignments MW in person

On this page is a drop down list of all of the primary, secondary and literary sources that you will be using this semester.

Survival Skills

On this dropdown menu, you will find the syllabus (online)/ syllabus (MW in person), rules about cheating, the rubric for all long written assignments and generally anything that will help you read and do your assignments.

Weekly Schedule

This is the nuts and bolts of the class and what you will use most often. It contains all of the readings, and daily writing assignment questions.
